Comments:  Although our model reported this chair to be quite a pleasant place in which to spend his time, it happens to be comfortable for human occupants as well.

We created the design, and the customer supplied the fabric for the back and cushion. We built a set of eight chairs to fit the clients' Kansas City residence. They surround a large dining table; two chairs have arms like the one above, and six chairs are without.

The joinery is all mortise and tenon, and the parts have been shaped primarily by hand. The fabric is applied to custom-sized removeable panels.

A urethane varnish protects the wood.
